Hannah Kim

Hannah Kim, an eighteen-year-old violinist, is a first-year at Amherst College in Amherst, MA. She started playing violin when she was five years old and studied with Ms. Linda Rose throughout her high school years. As a soloist, she won top prizes in YoungArts, Enkor International Music Competition, ASTA, MTAC, and SYMF. In past summers, she attended Curtis SummerFest, where she served as concertmaster in the orchestra, and studied with Jan Sloman at the Meadowmount School of Music. More recently, she was a part of NYO in the summer of 2020 and 2021. Hannah additionally shares her passion for music with her community as the Director of Global Operations of the "Back to Bach Project" and loved teaching young musicians through her growing private studio.
