Hyunnew Choi is a management consultant, and has been playing the violin around 20 years. She is an alumni of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Young Artist Orchestra, and Princeton University Orchestra, across which she has toured internationally and served as concertmaster. Over the years, Hyunnew has also taught music to young students through various programs, including From the Top’s Center for Development of Arts Leaders, El Sistema, and most recently, Bravo Waukegan’s Raise the Bar program.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in Economics and a minor in Statistics, and currently resides in New York City, occasionally playing with the local Chelsea Symphony.
